By Salzburg (Warmblood) out of Kiara Corazon de Oro (Welsh Riding Pony), Prada is a purpose-bred young mare with a kind, trainable temperament and a lovely foundation to continue producing.
She has had approximately 4 months of gentle, confidence-focused education under saddle before being turned back out to continue growing and maturing. Walk, trot and canter have been offered under saddle, with beautiful warmblood canter. Exposure in the dressage arena, jumping arena and round yard, as well as in-hand solo trail work, group trail rides, beach rides, opening and closing gates under saddle, trot poles and general obstacle work.
Her education has focused heavily on confidence and correct foundations. She has completed extensive groundwork, including backing up, side passing, moving the shoulders and hindquarters, gentle Pessoa work, liberty foundations and relaxation work on the lunge. She has also been exposed to dogs, machinery, cars, motorbikes, gunshots, sprinklers, tarps, plastic bags and a variety of new environments.
Prada is a great doer, easy to catch, tie, float and for the farrier, comes when called, is currently unshod with hardy feet and has recently had her routine dental.
Official AWHA service paperwork is available; however, her foal registration was never completed by the breeder I am
her first owner.
She has a cosmetic scar on her right hind leg from a foal injury, which has never affected her soundness. 2 months into her start under saddle, she offered a few small bucks due to having outgrown her original saddle. This was resolved immediately following a professional saddle refit.
Prada is still a young horse and will only be sold to an experienced home that enjoys continuing the education of young horses. She is not suitable for a beginner rider.
Photos and videos of her education from the very beginning are available, including groundwork, first rides, trail rides and desensitisation.
Vet pre-purchase examinations are welcomed and encouraged.
Best of homes only.
