Strawberry Roan Brumby Cross Mare – 13.3hh – 8 Years Old

Bingo is a beautiful 8-year-old strawberry roan Brumby Cross mare standing approximately 13.3hh. She was purchased as a project with the intention of continuing her education and bringing her along; however, due to time commitments, I haven’t been able to give her the time and consistency she deserves.

Bingo is a lovely mare with a lot of potential for the right person. She is extremely easy to handle on the ground and has been handled by children. She is easy to catch, brush, rug, float and is great for the farrier and vet. She has good, sturdy feet, holds weight well and is an easy keeper. She is a lovely pony to have around and is not nasty — she does not bite, kick, buck or rear. She can be a little nervous in new situations but settles well and is not overly spooky.

Under saddle, Bingo has been ridden by multiple people and has been exposed to trails and some jumping. She is a comfortable, capable pony with a lot to offer. She can be a little lazy at times, but when ridden confidently she is responsive and enjoyable to ride.

She is not suited to a complete beginner, as she can become a little strong when ridden by a nervous or inexperienced rider, particularly when moving into the canter. However, with a confident, capable rider who knows how to ride forward and provide reassurance, she is very easy to manage and a straightforward ride.

Bingo would suit someone looking for a project pony to finish educating, a confident teenager/adult rider, or someone wanting to continue developing a versatile little horse. With consistency and the right rider, she has the potential to become a fantastic all-rounder.
