Breeding: By Metallic Jaguar out of Warrigal Hollys Honour. Granddaughter of the legendary Metallic Cat, with Playboy Roy and Dually Cool further back in her pedigree.
Dixie was started under saddle in December 2024 by Scott Champion of Champion Performance Training and has since progressed through their cutting program, where she has proven herself both athletic and intelligent. Her temperament is outstanding — genuinely quiet, with a loving nature that draws people in.
A pleasure to ride and free of vices, Dixie is still a touch green and can find very high-pressure situations in the cutting pen a little overwhelming. With more mileage, we have no doubt she'll grow into them.
She has travelled extensively with the show team and been used as a turnback horse at multiple cuttings. She has also featured in horsemanship demonstrations and intermediate riding lessons at Champion Performance Training, showing a great willingness to learn and an excellent work ethic throughout.
Dixie loves attention and is a dream to handle — easy to catch, loads and floats beautifully.
