Simonson is a 6-year-old, 16hh Thoroughbred gelding by Hallowed Crown out of Hopscotch. Since retiring from racing, he has been carefully and patiently produced with the aim of becoming a quality all-round riding horse.
He is a kind-natured gelding with a lovely temperament and has become a stable favourite. Simonson is a pleasure to handle on the ground, enjoys attention, and has attended clinics and riding club outings where he continues to improve with every experience. He is currently working confidently on the flat, beginning his jumping education, and has shown he has a willing attitude and enjoys having a job.
Simonson is still a young OTT Thoroughbred and is best suited to a confident rider or someone working with a coach to continue his education. He is not naughty or malicious—he simply needs someone to keep building on the solid foundations he has been given.
He is up to date with his teeth, feet, worming and vaccinations. He walks straight onto my angle-load float and travels well.
This is a very genuine horse that will make a fantastic partner for someone wanting to continue producing a quality Thoroughbred for adult riding club, eventing, dressage or pleasure riding.
