Sequal is a very safe, uncomplicated mare that has been out competing consistently at 120cm. She has competed at Stonewall, Willinga and many of the other big shows, always improving and always consistent. She placed 2nd and 3rd in the 120cm young horse classes at Willinga last year and following a few months off for breeding (ET) over summer, she went out and placed in 3/4 of her classes at her first show back.
She is bold and straightforward to jump and has plenty of stride for a smaller horse. Never spooky at fill and would probably be bold enough for eventing with some xc education.
On the flat, Sequal is soft and responsive and has established education with lateral work, walk to canter and starting changes.
Sequal was purchased as a young horse to produce for her owners teenage son to do children’s and juniors on, with temperament and safety in mind while also being competitive but sadly he has given up riding. She has been jumped, ridden at clinics and ridden through the farm independently by a 13yr boy with ease and we think she would make a lovely young persons or ammis horse. She also has the ability and is ready to step up to 125-130 with a competitive rider
Sequal has been a part of my team for the last couple of years and is a pleasure to have around and take to shows. She’s a gem to hack out of do fitness work on in the back paddock and handles atmosphere at shows very well.
