Ronnie is a genuine, much-loved pony looking for his next family after being a fantastic first ridden pony for both of my children. He’s safe, sensible, willing, and loves having a job.
He is beautifully responsive without being silly — a little leg goes a long way — making him a fun, confidence-building ride for a capable child, teen, or small adult. He has lovely big “horse-like” movement and is not a kick-along plodder.
For the past 12 months he has been ridden by a confident child rider, so he is currently going more forward and responsive under saddle, but he settles quickly to suit his rider.

• Ideal for a confident beginner, novice rider, teen, or small adult
• Has happily done leadline and independent riding
• Best suited to a home with some horse knowledge
• Not suitable for a complete beginner child with inexperienced parents
⭐ Temperament & Handling
Easy to catch, float, trim, rug, wash, and handle. A very straightforward pony to have around and easy to keep in work.
⭐ Honest Notes
• Mild itch, easily managed with rugging and diet
• If genuinely startled (e.g. a dog suddenly appearing), he may scoot a stride or two, but he is never nasty or dirty
Ronnie has been a special part of our family and is only available because my son has outgrown him and my daughter has her own pony. Finding the right home for him is very important.
A lovely all-rounder for a family wanting a safe but enjoyable pony, or for a teen/small adult wanting a reliable, fun ride.
