Regretful Sale – Registered Welsh B Pony “Medallion Dalle”

* price drop selling as is - needs to be brought back into work and I don’t have a capable rider* won’t take much, have begun in the ground, price will go up if this changes.
We bought Dalle and his paddock buddy in August 2025 for our five children, who were all beginners. We have genuinely loved having him, however he simply isn’t getting used to his full potential and has far more to offer than our current lifestyle of casual trail riding around the farm. Our younger children naturally gravitate toward our smaller 11hh Welsh pony, who is better suited to their level.
Unfortunately Dalle has also developed Queensland itch at our property. His previous home in the same region did not have issues with itch. We would love to see him go to either an itch-free area or a knowledgeable horsey home happy to manage it properly.
Dalle is a lovely natured pony with a lot going for him:

No buck, bolt or rear
He has happily carried absolute beginners, however we feel he is best suited as a second pony for a capable novice/intermediate child. When fresh he can test confidence a little, but once he knows he has a confident rider he goes beautifully. I have trusted him to take my 8-year-old daughter off lead across our steep, rocky bush property with very minimal riding skills.
One of my daughters enjoys natural horsemanship and liberty work, and Dalle really seems to thrive with that kind of connection and engagement.
He is a lighter-framed Welsh and a fun, capable pony for a child wanting to progress beyond the basics. My daughters have learnt to walk, trot and canter on him and he has been patient and kind with them.
