13yo approx 15.1hh red roan gelding.
A well mannered gelding that has had education and exposure, honest and great after a spell.
Currently ridden by a teenage girl and a lady.
Done snaffle bit cutting, clinics, trail riding around the farm, arena work, lessons and cow horse comps with his current owners, chiz has a nice snaffle mouth, great floaty paces, nice transitions, good stop and is responsive to the leg.
He can sidepass, walk to canter, spin, has shoulder and hip control and can do nice roll backs, has a massive stride, works the flag well and is very nice and fun on a cow. He has good lead departures, established flying changes.
He gets his confidence from his rider, so he is not suited to beginners or nervous riders.
Chiz would best suit a confident capable rider, who knows how to use his buttons, that would like an athletic horse that can do a bit of everything.
Great to tie, rug, wash, trim feet, and all the usual things. Can sometimes be a bit funny to catch until he gets to know you.
Has been floated angle and straight load and can be tricky to load occasionally but 90% of the time he is fine.
Chiz would thrive under a competiton rider who understands his education and can give him regular work, or a rider who would like a nice farm or mustering horse....he is a smart, talented gelding that will go far in the right hands.
Up to date with teeth, farrier, worming and body work.
