“PRINCE” Palomino Quarter Horse

Prince is 10 year old quarter horse gelding who has been out of work for 15 months now. Due to personal health reasons I am no longer wanting to ride and have been in denial about selling my boy. This is not an easy sale but I know he is going to waste and needs someone who can put the time and effort back into him and can give him a better life.

Height is approx 15hh, easy to catch, comes straight to the gate every time. Up to date with worming, feet and dental checks (can give records). He likes his right front foot trimmed/cleaned out last, just a funny little quirk he has. Has only been floated a couple of times since I have owned him in last 5 years so to be honest I'm not sure what he will be like to float now since it's been a while.

Mostly ridden for pleasure in paddocks and on local trail ride. My kids fuss over him and is happy to stand or let them ride him around yards with halter bare back. He is the dominant one in paddock with Welsh Mare however when we have had another gelding in paddock he was the submissive one and followed. He is better to ride when another horse is with him however when pushed he will go and relax once away from other horses.

He is probably better suited to someone with experience and confidence as he needs to get back into work. He can get a bit uncertain around objects like bins on the road, but just have to move him on.
