Leah is searching for a very special new home and would suit an experienced, confident adult or teen rider wanting a beautifully natured, exceptionally safe genuine & fun all-rounder for Interschools, Pony Club, adult riding, pleasure riding or lower level showjumping/dressage.
She has previously competed in show jumping (90cm) where she consistently bought home first place.
Leah is one of the quietest, most level-headed young horses you could meet. She is incredibly chilled, sensible and kind, with a loving temperament that makes her a genuine pleasure to have around. While still green due to her age and mileage, she has an outstanding brain and has never put a foot wrong under saddle.
She would be perfectly suited to an adult returning to riding wanting a quiet, confidence-giving horse, or a Pony Club/Interschool home with a capable rider under instruction, ready to experience their first young horse. Leah is bold, honest and very willing, with all the foundations established.
Bred to jump, Leah combines the exceptional bloodlines of Castle Baron and Higgins. She is naturally brave, careful and shows excellent scope over a fence while remaining calm and rideable. She is naturally forward-moving without being rushy, maintains soft consistent contact and is very responsive to her rider’s aids. She also thoroughly enjoys hacking out and being part of everyday life.
Leah has no vices and is a delight to handle in every way. She is affectionate, gentle and thrives on human attention — always the first to meet you at the gate for a cuddle. She truly is a much-loved family member.
Currently ridden by a 15-year-old and in moderate work due to time constraints, Leah continues to prove herself as an exceptionally trustworthy and easy-going mare.
While incredibly safe and sensible, Leah is intelligent and learns quickly, therefore she is not suitable for beginners or nervous riders lacking confidence or experience.
Current basic vet check available (14/5/2026) covering neurological, cardiac, respiratory, ocular, external genital, soundness and musculoskeletal assessment.
A loving forever home where she will receive plenty of daily attention and affection is an absolute must. This is a very sad sale of a truly special horse.
