National Diamond (Kya)
Kya has a great temperament, is easy to handle in every way, loves humans and is a lovely type. Nice enough to show, but talent for the SJ ring or eventing competitions. She is progressing really well on the flat at home, sits happily in a frame in walk, trot and canter. Upward transitions are established, downward transitions are still a work in progress.
Kya requires a capable and confident rider to support her to relax in the dressage ring while out competing, she has improved at each outing and will continue to be campaigned until sold. She has shown huge progress in the warmup rings out at competitions and will hopefully be attending the final two SEED CT or HT events at Werribee Park (June and July) for more exposure.
Jumping phases are very strong, no fuss and extremly easy horse to compete, naturally adjusts for the jumps, has scope and spring in her jump, very natural jumping ability and has a great rhythm in the ring (doesn't take over and is happy to adjust if asked). This is a serious horse for straight SJ junior mount or someone wanting a competative interschools mount. She is safe, fun and an extremly promising competition horse for a capable and confident performance home. Kya is very balanced and quick on her feet, quick turns and a bouncy canter say she would make a super competative interschools or EA level show jumping horse for the right home. She is pretty enough to hold her own in the show ring, but with her jumping talent I would prefer her to go to a competitive performance home with a focus on jumping.
She will not be sold to a beginner (please do not enquire if you are looking for your first horse - she is not suitable due to her bouncy paces and naturally forward way of going), she is not a horse you have to kick along and is very happy to travel along freely and forward.
She is not spooky and rarely looks at anything (if ever), she does not care about dazzle boards, other animals, kids jumping about etc. She is easy to trail ride, just walks at her boppy pace, she is always going somewhere and needs a friendly reminder to steady and travel at my pace at times. She has bounce in her paces so will not suit a rider who is still learning or establishing their seat / hands. She is happy to canter around all day and needs to be reminded to stay at the pace the rider has set, although this is getting less the more she progresses in her re-training.

Mt Duneed PC CT day (Grade 3 - 80cm), 1 green moment but stepped up beautifully and didn't loose confidence at any of the bigger fences. She had never seen a dazzle board and didn't even look twice at it - she is extremley laid back and loves jumping. Ballarat International EA HT (EvA 80cm) - rider video coming. 1 rider caused rail in SJ, and a green look at the jump into water (I should have taken the option, but I wanted to see how she would go as she is naturally bold on XC).
