Cougar is rising 7 and approx. 14.2HH. Born and bred here on a working cattle property, Cougar has done cattle mustering, a roping clinic and the Yarraman Trail Ride with 50-odd other riders.
Free moving with a lovely walk, smooth canter and great brakes. Cougar is gold champagne (not palomino) registered Pinto. Cougar is by Mickiri Samsons Gold (Imp, PHAA) and out of an unregistered Pinto mare.
Cougar is people friendly and affectionate and enjoys having someone she can bond with. She is kind and honest to catch, handle and ride and can be left for extended periods with absolutely no rubbish when saddling back up, no working down required for this lovely girl.
Absolutely no known vices; however, is overdue to have her teeth done, as can be seen in the video. Not spooky or looky and is a safe mount for nervous intermediate riders.
Cougar's usual rider is a nervous intermediate Nanna and Cougar will happily park up beside something for ease of mounting or dismounting without walking off. Cougar will ride into water without issue and can safely be ridden bareback in a halter. She has also kept a drunk rider safe once or twice lol.
Great with traffic, quads, dogs and heavy machinery. Cougar's a genuinely lovely, honest girl that I never thought I'd sell, but sadly the time has come for her to go to a new awesome home where she can be enjoyed by her next best friend.
Cougar is an ideal candidate for a mum returning to riding or a teen looking for a safe, honest mount to enjoy.
