Four-year-old Purebred Gypsy Cob mare, 14.3hh, currently with her trainer undergoing sale preparation.
Abanie is a stunning pinto mare with excellent conformation, movement and quality breeding. By palomino tobiano sire Goldengate Thor and out of piebald mare Kallaroo Ardingly Imported, she has registered Purebred Gypsy Cob breeding throughout her pedigree.
She is confident, easy to catch, affectionate and has a beautiful, brave temperament. Handling has been undertaken professionally and sensibly to establish a solid foundation for her future. She ties, leads, lunges and picks up all four feet. She is also happy to go over jumps.
She is float trained and comfortable travelling. Her teeth and feet are up to date, she is accustomed to having her feet handled and maintained by the farrier, and she is up to date with worming.
She has been introduced to saddle, bridle and the bit and is comfortable working in gear.
She is registered as a Purebred Gypsy Cob, DNA tested and comes with her full hereditary registration papers, which can be transferred to her new owner. A veterinary check has been completed and independent vet checks are welcome.
Her trainer believes she has the movement, conformation and temperament to make a lovely ridden horse and has the potential to go in a number of directions with the right education. She would also be a quality mare to retain for breeding in the future.

$25k including an additional eight weeks of training with her current trainer to continue her education under saddle, with availability in October. The training package can be tailored to the buyer’s goals and may include further development across arena work, trail riding, jumping or general all-round education. Deposit required to secure the training package.
Expressions of interest are being taken while she completes her sale preparation. The right home is important, and an experienced, knowledgeable home is preferred.
