Introduction:
Rosethorn Ladybird, known as Birdie, is an eye-catching, registered Sportaloosa mare with the conformation, trainability and presence to turn heads in the dressage and show arenas. Officially measured at 14.2hh and registered EA, Sportaloosa and ANSA, Birdie is a quality small-horse with genuine riding appeal and a great foundation to continue producing.
Education, skills and experience:
Birdie is well educated and has been to shows and competed. She is currently training Medium/Advanced level dressage, with flying changes highlighted as a strength. Birdie also enjoys trail riding, jumping and working through obstacles, adding versatility for riders who like to mix their work and enjoy a horse with more than one string to her bow.
General demeanour under saddle:
Under saddle, Birdie is willing, responsive and soft in the bridle, and tolerant of rider mistakes. She is willing and adapts to the competence and confidence level of her rider. She may ''have a look' at new venues but isn't spooky and doesn't react to rider nerves.
