Stormy
Once in a life time pony.
Excellent to Rug, brush, wash, do feet, will tie up all day, easy to catch etc etc.
Paddock alone or with others, good around dogs, livestock and wildlife.
Never founded or had any health issues.
Stormy has done lots of trail rides with kangaroo, deer and wallaby running out infront of him, he is not phased. He’s done lots of trail rides, rides down the road, shows, fun days and Texas Cowboy obstacles. You can crack a whip of him, not worried about tarps or ropes over him. Has been ridden by beginner children and is very patient and forgiving. Loves being ridden bareback, kids can jump on and slide all over him.
Very inquisitive pony, like to be in the sheds or with you to see what you’re doing, would come inside if he could. Good to walk around, in between cars and machinery. Can be lead of another horse, or can lead off him, and can lead from a buggy.
Easy to float, kids can walk him on and tie him up, easy to unload. Been in a straight load and angle float.
CON - Can get very lazy doing paddock work, he is a true beginners pony, not lazy out of trails happy to be out in front or behind.
Can be left for months at a time and hop on and go. Im sure there is more I have missed but he is a true gem. Vet checks welcome.
