Dashing Dasher!!! Ready for his childhood best friend

$10,000 AUD — VIC

Dasher is a striking 3 year old rising 4 approx 12hh appaloosa pony. He did 6 weeks of professional horse breaking and has been in 2 day a week work ever since. Dasher is a great doer on grass and hay, he is broad and solid. Dasher is easy to handle easy to catch, his so curious he usually catches you, great to lead, tie, hobble, groom, his had his feet trimmed on a regular 6 week roster and he stands for saddling and bridling. Under saddle dasher would make the ideal lead pony for a young child and then as the child grows and Dasher matures they would develop a great off lead partnership. Dasher has been trained with a lot of patience, persistence and love! He has always been handled with respect and that’s why he loves his time with people. Dasher has not been to a competition environment but he has been to many arena outings and obstacles and he is the same calm boy away from home. Dasher has a beautiful canter and is easy to transition from the trot to canter when asked and holds a steady rhythm. He is almost voice command cluck for trot and kiss for canter. Whoa to come back down the gaits. He is starting to hold himself in a lovely frame and benefits from being ridden in rings to help with this. Dasher is confident and capable of doing what’s being asked of him and does it calmly. Sometimes he will become spooked but he may just jig forward it’s nothing dramatic or extremely reactive however I often find he will stop or slow look and then continue on. This is not seen when leading children. He is great to be paddocked in a herd. Being that dasher is young being a lead pony would be the perfect starting point for this little man. It will give his sensible brain plenty of exposure and guidance. He is up date with feet, worming and teeth and we have reports from dentist for his teeth He has been professionally saddle fitted for a wintec all purpose and we can supply all his measurements to successful buyer or for additional cost can sell with all his gear. He comes with his winter, fleece and summer rug. He is a beloved member of our home and we hope he can go to a forever home where he will be loved on by many children and develop them into happy confident riders who have a real loving bond with him. He is bursting with potential paired with a sensible and sane brain making him an eye catching yet heart settling pony. He will only be sold to the best match and a home who has horse knowledge and experience. For plenty of Videos and more pictures please reach out with seriuous enquiries
