8yo | 16.2hh | Bay Thoroughbred Gelding
Very sad sale of my much-loved Minstral Park Moon, affectionately known as Moon.
Moon is an 8-year-old bay Thoroughbred gelding, officially measured at 16.2hh. He finished his racing career in 2023 and has since been extensively educated and shown, including attending both Adelaide Royal and Melbourne Royal Shows, always coming home with ribbons.
He is a lovely, well put-together gelding with plenty of presence and a particularly handsome head. Moon is a soft, enjoyable ride and has had a huge amount of exposure competing at top level.
He is full of personality — cheeky, playful and a real character to have around. Because of this, Moon is not suited to a nervous, novice or inexperienced rider. He is best suited to a confident, experienced rider who appreciates a Thoroughbred with personality and can continue getting the best from him.
Moon has been borrowed by teenagers for riding comp classes and has also been well placed in the child hack classes.
