Rosie is a beautiful chestnut mare who I’ve had the opportunity to own as my first horse as of March 2025, in saying that, I'm in my last year at school and cannot keep up with the work she needs and I do not have the knowledge or time to further her development. Definitely not a beginners horse, will need a confident rider/home with experience. I haven't recently been riding her (Once a week) so not in any sort of work.

- She is roughly 8yrs (though previous owners were unsure)

- Good to stand, she is good for the farrier that i've had but can be stubborn with picking up her back feet at times however consistency does make a difference

- Relatively good to catch, I do go out with a bucket to be sure, however when she was in consistent work she came up to me with no worries.

- More go than whoa, will do well in a working environment but will happily plot along on trail rides

- No serious buck, no bite bolt or rear but cannot guarantee a perfect horse.

- Have taught her to lunge.

- Walk, trot, canter all good

- Teeth and vet done in December.

- Can be girthy at times

- Has shown potential in barrels and will do well in camp drafting/ mustering

- good to float though haven’t needed to

- does have seedy toe in hind leg but dosent seem to be bothered by it and is managed by farrier

- isn’t rugged at the moment

- easy keeper

- had shoes on front feet

- Haven’t done any real bareback riding as I’m not the most confident rider

- unmeasured

She is a versatile horse and with the right owner and effort her potential is endless but consistency is what she needs most. I am new to this and want to provide as much info as possible so everything is transparent because I cannot guarantee a perfect horse, overall she is a very teachable horse with a sweet nature who has come very far in her progress since I bought her.
