GRANDVIEW BARBIE DAZZLER ("Barbie")
Australian Warmblood mare by Glenara Bollingers Cowboy | 15.2hh | Dark bay | DOB 1/11/2021 (rising 5) | ACE registered.
Barbie is a compact, athletic mare with an outstanding bloodline and exciting potential for showjumping, eventing or dressage.
She has three elegant, floaty paces and a lovely nature to match. She is very soft in a snaffle and responsive to the leg, with leg yield and shoulder-in established on the flat.
She has been out to SJ Freshman's, XC training and forest rides.
I have had Barbie in work for the last two months and she has shown constant improvement. For reference, I am 5'8" and she takes up my leg well.
Like all good mares, she has a strong personality, and she will reward a rider who takes the time to build a partnership with her.
Her pedigree carries serious jumping blood. Her sire line traces back to Balou du Rouet, sire of multiple 1.70m show jumpers, and to the great Baloubet du Rouet, Olympic individual gold medallist with Rodrigo Pessoa at Athens 2004. Conquistador, Umenno and Quidam de Revel also feature in her pedigree.
Easy at home: paddocked with other horses, leaves her mates without fuss, floats well and stands quietly at the float.
Four very good feet, shod in front and barefoot behind as not yet required.
Barbie would suit an experienced rider who can complete her education and take her up the ranks.
Vet checks welcomed.
