✨ Maya — Rising 4-Year-Old Mare ✨
Wynara so charming
Maya has a wonderful temperament for a rising 4 -year old and is a horse I have had the privilege of owning since she was a yearling. She has been taken out to a young stock show and has always shown herself to be a lovely, willing and intelligent young horse.
**Breeding:** Black Charming WE x Emenjay Molly
Maya has been handled consistently from a young age and has a great foundation of groundwork behind her. She has been mouthed, lunged, had a saddle placed on her back and has had body weight introduced through leaning across her back. She is now at the perfect age and stage to continue her education and be broken in under saddle. Ready to go straight to the breaker
Unfortunately, due to full-time work and some recent personal circumstances, I simply no longer have the time I feel Maya deserves to put into her education\. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, as I do not want to see such a wonderful young horse miss the opportunity to be brought on at the perfect age.
Maya is a strong-willed young horse and will require a new owner with experience who is confident and capable of continuing her education\. She can be strong at times, particularly around feed time, so an experienced and consistent handler is essential.
That being said, Maya also has an incredibly soft and affectionate side\. She absolutely loves attention and thrives on affection. She has a beautiful personality and a cheeky character she loves getting in your face and being involved in everything you’re doing. Her character is one of the things I have always loved most about her.
She is very willing to learn and a quick learner. She enjoys being handled, washed and lunged and genuinely enjoys spending time with people.
Maya has a very bright future ahead of her and has the potential to excel in the **show ring as a hunter or in dressage. She has a beautiful build, magnificent bone and plenty of potential to become a truly lovely performance and riding horse.
It would break my heart to see Maya’s potential wasted simply because I no longer have the time to give her. I would love nothing more than to see her go to a wonderful, experienced home where someone has the time, patience and love to bring out the best in her.
Maya is very sentimental to me, so I will be extremely particular about where she goes. I am looking for the very best home for her and will be firm about finding the right match.
