Interschool 1* schoolmaster gelding

$30,000 AUD — QLD

16.3hh 17yo TB gelding. (Don’t let his age fool you, he’s got plenty of miles in the tank left)

He has taken me from EV80cm eventing to 1*.

Competing 1* eventing, novice dressage and 1.05-1.10cm show jumping.

3 lovely paces with a big expressive trot that always makes a statement. Bold and keen jumper that can be strong, travels great around a cross country course with a strong big striding canter. Schooling comfortably upto 1.15 showjumping and easily over 2/3* fences. Swali is a super brave, point and shoot type of horse that loves the big jumps. In saying that 2* competitive is a bit much for him especially as he’s getting older.

Swali is good out and in competition environments, can occasionally get stressy and can be sensitive at times. Easy to do everything with on the ground, catch, float, farrier etc (Currently just has front 2 shoes). Up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. Swali is EA life registered. Placing in nearly every competition he goes to and very well known out in the community.

Would suit a kind confident rider wanting to progress up the grades. Would thrive for an Interschool or pony club competitive mount.

Swali is not suitable for beginners or unbalanced riders as he is a big forward moving horse and does require someone capable. Has never buck, reared, pigrooted. He’s a horse that loves to work and do his job. Will happily hang around with you in the paddock and love’s a bath. Has been to the creek and beach and loves going for a swim.

I am in no rush to sell him as he’s such a great horse and needs to go to someone who is capable. This decision has not come lightly as he’s a loved member of the family.
