Exceptional young gelding unspoilt with plenty of exposure.
Scotty has excellent conformation with a kind and loveable temperament with exceptional ground manners and willingness to please.
He has a solid basic foundation, three nice paces with stops and turns being established.
Scotty has spent 8 weeks tailing weaners and has been exposed to many situations.
Scotty is happy to travel on a loose rein and will collect. Open and shut gates, stand whilst getting on from anywhere.
Good with the stock whip.
He is bold and not looky and he is willing to go where asked and very sensible when unsure of new situations.
He has been travelled to Campdrafts and takes it all in his stride.
Scotty has been ridden by confident children under instruction and has no dirt in him and is excellent after a spell.
He would be an excellent prospect for someone looking for a versatile gelding that would excel in most disciplines.
Scotty would suit a rider looking for a low fuss gelding to mould into whatever they desire. From a family of polo, showing and campdrafters he is a real allrounder.
Only due to his age he would suit someone capable of continuing his education, I believe quiet enough for someone’s first green horse. However due to his age he will not be sold to beginners or someone who lacks confidence to be the leader.
He’s good with other animals, dogs, traffic.
Leads from vehicles and horses, Easy to ride alone or in company.
Super well travelled, will load on anything.
Great to catch, tie up and trim feet.
Only vice is he isn’t a fan of the clippers and will need someone who will continue to take the time to get him used to them.
