Whiskey has been a marvelous Gelding for myself who had a few years off riding, to get back into it. Whiskey has been a pleasure to do everything with, he is easy to catch, wash, float/truck (straight and angle). He is not mean or bossy on the ground or around food.
Whiskey has had plenty of miles mustering (prior to coming to me) and since being with me has been trying his hoof at English riding. We've done extensive trail riding, going out for trails at least two weekends a month for the last year. As well as an occasional low level dressage, jumping or eventing comp. English is not what Whiskey enjoys doing however. (my first reason for selling). We have also had a play on working equitation obstacles with no issues. I believe he would do well in the paint showing world, as he is well put together. (I recently had him registered for this.)
Whiskey has more woah than go (my second reason for selling) , and would be suited to someone wanting a safe sensible mount. He's always taken new things on in his stride, and I have used him to teach a few of my friends the basics of riding.
Whiskey can be pulled out of the paddock after a spell with ease. He has no buck, bolt rear etc.
