'Cleo de Nile' - a truly show-stopping pony, selling due to no fault of her own. Would suit a gutsy kid willing to put in a bit of time for a very handy and eye-catching allrounder.
Bought at the beginning of this year as a project pony, however ended up having more horses on the truck than expected, therefore pushing her down the 'priority list'. Cleo would be a cracking children's showjumping or pony club pony, as she is quick on her feet, brave as they come, and very careful, with a lovely technique over a fence. She has competed at ag shows and local showjumping events in 60cm classes, schooling around 80cm at home, and easily freejumping up to 1.10m. Talent and scope to burn, but rideability is a work in progress. Regularly ridden on trails and outside the arena, has gone mustering, xc schooling, been in rivers and dams.
Cleo is a sharp ride, having a lovely soft mouth, but a typical 'pony mare' attitude, as well as being prone to throw in a pigroot here and there. Definitely NOT more woah-than-go. She is easy to do everything with once in work, but will challenge you when it comes to catching her if left in a paddock for a long period of time.
Cleo would be a perfect ride for a brave kid that wants a pony to stand out with at any discipline, but doesn't mind a bit of a 'hot' ride. She is currently OUT OF WORK, but price will increase as she is brought back into work over the next month. Videos available upon request. Barefoot with great feet, maintains good weight off grass and hay, up to date with vaccines, teeth, etc.
