Barringa Hunter ????
Hunter is a beautiful young registered Welsh D with the sweetest old soul. He is kind, genuine and sensible, with a lovely temperament both under saddle and on the ground. Hunter has been started kindly, with time taken to let him mature without being rushed. He has had absolutely no dirt in him and has never bucked, bolted or reared.
Although still young and green, Hunter has a great foundation and a very trainable attitude. He moves off the leg well and, once he is going, he settles into a lovely forward rhythm. He is also sensitive to seat and will stop from a subtle shift in weight.
Hunter has been out to the river, cross-country training and dressage outings, gaining valuable exposure and experience for his age. He also has a lovely brain, and after time off, he can be pulled out of the paddock and come back into work the same horse, without fuss.
His only real quirk is that he can be a little looky/spooky at times. In saying this, it is never nasty, he works through it quickly and does not hold onto what has worried him. With quiet confidence and supportive leg, he will generally just have a look and carry on.
Hunter would suit a kind, confident rider or family wanting a quality young Welsh D to continue producing. He has the temperament, trainability and presence to excel as a pony dressage, show hunter, pony club or all-rounder mount. He has also done a small amount of jumping and has taken it in his stride, with videos available to genuinely interested homes.
