Sparky is a quality young gelding with an exceptional temperament and a bright future ahead of him. He has been well handled from the beginning and is easy to catch, lead, tie up, float, truck, wash, rug and trim.
Sparky is now green broken with multiple quiet rides under saddle. He is confidently walking, trotting and cantering, and has been ridden out in the paddock where he has remained relaxed and sensible. Started slowly with a solid foundation and taking everything in his stride.
Sparky’s sire is a Reserve Champion ASH stallion at the Brisbane Royal, who is a successful novice campdrafter, multiple cut-out winner and has numerous campdraft placings. His dam was an exceptional camp horse in her younger years before becoming a trusted all-round family horse. His maternal half-sister is also a multiple campdraft winner, novice mare.
With his proven pedigree, athletic build and kind, trainable nature, Sparky has all the ingredients to excel in campdrafting, challenges, stock work or as an all-round performance horse.
