Highlights

Kind, forgiving and safe schoolmaster

Educated and a super allrounder

Sound and vice free

Introduction:

Vanoca Park L.A., known as Bryn, is a quality 14.1hh palomino Welsh gelding with genuine all-round appeal. A proven interschool and pony club schoolmaster type with a kind and forgiving temperament. Bryn is a fabulous, versatile option for a junior or family wanting one pony to do a bit of everything.

Education, skills and experience:

Bryn is well educated, has competed with wins and placings, and is not currently competing. He has low-level jump schooling over cavaletti and cross-rails, low-level cross-country schooling, works willingly on the flat with the ability to collect, and has tackled working equitation-style obstacles. He has also been to the beach, swum in dams and rivers, and is unbothered by busy roads, fireworks, farm machinery, livestock and dogs.

General demeanour under saddle:

Under saddle, Bryn is willing and responsive, adapts to the rider’s level, and puts in as much effort as asked. He is tolerant of rider mistakes and will happily plod for a nervous rider, while still stepping up for a more capable rider. Bryn is vice free.

Current workload / fitness:

Bryn is in work, ridden three or more times per week, and does not need regular riding to remain reliable and safe.

Handling:

On the ground, Bryn is easy to catch, lead, tie, clip and wash. He self-loads, travels quietly, unloads calmly, and is good for the farrier and vet. He is currently barefoot.

Feeding and management:

Bryn is an easy keeper and is fed twice daily with constant access to hay. He is on hard feed with lucerne chaff and can live in a herd or happily on his own, thriving with a consistent routine.
