Harrier Hill Soul Sister is a beautifully bred young Hanoverian mare combining two proven Grand Prix dressage lines known for trainability, rideability and longevity.
By Sir Donnerhall II and out of a Fishermans Friend mare, Soul Sister offers valuable dressage breeding with strong performance depth through Sandro Hit, Donnerhall, Fabriano, Winterkoenig (imp) and Thoroughbred influence.
Sir Donnerhall II competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in the Grand Prix. The stallion represented France at the 2022 World Championships in Herning. With rider, Morgan Barbancon, they qualified for and competed in six FEI Dressage World Cup Finals. When a young horse, Sir Donnerhall II earned a bronze medal at the 2012 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. He is full brother to Sir Donnerhall I that was the 5-year-old Bundeschampion and Vice World Champion for young dressage horses in 2006, and performed to the Novice Level.
Fishermans Friend (imp) with rider Tor Van Den Berge was known for his exceptional rideability and three floating gaits. His notable competitive highlights included multiple Grand Prix Championships and a Freestyle victory at the QLD State Dressage Championships.
Winterkoenig (imp) was half brother to Wenzel I and II, and World Cup I - IV. He produced numerous successful progeny competing at the FEI level (specifically Prix St Georges).
She would be of interest to a knowledgeable dressage or breeding home looking for quality bloodlines at a realistic price.
Full disclosure: As a foal, Soul Sister had corrective veterinary surgery to address a front limb deviation. She does retain visible irregularity in that front leg/foot as a mature mare and her movement is not perfectly straight. Her canter is very good, being able to shift her balance to her motor in the back. She is friendly and quiet. She had many lessons with John Chatterton since her first few weeks and John taught her how to trailer load.
