Introduction:
Easy Tiger, known as Tiger, is a smart, athletic New Zealand Thoroughbred gelding with a strong performance background across eventing, showjumping and dressage. He is currently in work and competing, and offers the right rider an educated, capable horse with a quality foundation and a serious amount of experience.
Over the past two years, Tiger has successfully competed to Medium level dressage and 110cm showjumping. He would appeal to a confident rider wanting a forward, talented and well-educated performance horse for showjumping, dressage or eventing with the right rider.
Education, skills and experience:
Tiger has previously evented to 3* level, although he has not evented for the past two years due to the seller’s lack of time. During that time, he has continued to compete successfully in showjumping to 110cm and dressage to Medium level.
Tiger absolutely loves cross country and is keen and forward in that phase. This is very manageable for a confident and capable rider, but he is not a horse for someone who is nervous, inexperienced or wanting a quiet kick-along ride.
Tiger is a very capable and well-educated dressage horse with natural ability and a willingness to collect. He is also a careful and brave showjumper. In dressage and showjumping, he requires a less experienced rider than he does cross country.
Across all three phases, Tiger is an established and experienced performance horse. He is very well educated, currently competing, and brings a broad range of training, exposure and competition experience to his next home.
General demeanour under saddle:
Tiger is a forward and sharp performance horse. He is a safe horse with absolutely no dirt, but he is still an athletic Thoroughbred with energy, education and ability.
He can be looky and, on occasion, may spook. He may also react to rider nerves by becoming tense, so he is best suited to a confident rider who can stay relaxed, clear and consistent.
With regular work and confident riding, Tiger is reliable, educated and has “all the buttons”. He offers plenty to the rider who enjoys an athletic performance horse and wants something with true ability and willingness to perform.
Tiger is not concerned by typical farm life, including tractors, trucks, motorbikes, livestock and dogs. He is also not worried by busy roads or fireworks.
