“Milo” is an absolute gem to have around — tall, handsome, kind natured extremely easy to handle, and happily takes new environments and experiences in his stride.
While at the trainer Milo was used in a riding school , ridden by a wide range of riders ( under supervision ) , was competing prelim dressage, used on trails, training laterals and jumping 60cm with scope to go higher , While Milo is sensible and quiet, he has shown minimal “baby moments” he will not be sold to a beginner home. He deserves a capable rider who will continue to bring out the very best in him and push him through some silliness as we truly believe this boy has all the potential to excel in any discipline once he finds his person.
He was broken in beautifully and has great buttons if you know how to use them.
Bloodlines to follow the western performance disciplines.
He is still developing strength and balance in his canter and still building muscle through his hind end. At times he can crossfire when lacking engagement and is best ridden with a soft, loose rein through transitions.
Milo was sold to me as a suitable horse for a novice rider to continue my lessons on and unfortunately it hasn’t worked out
