Montie is a 15.2HH, 13yo brown mare who is the ideal pony club all-rounder. She has primarily been used as a showjumping horse at a riding school for the last few years, where she has taken students out to competitions up to 1m.
She has also done plenty of dressage, trail rides, cross-country and beach rides. Quiet on the ground and easy to handle in every way. Loads on straight or angle load and is not easily spooked. Currently barefoot and holding condition just on hay.
She is the sort of horse that adapts to her rider. For a nervous, rough-handed rider she can be a bit stubborn and fussy in the mount, but she senses a confident rider and just gets on with the job.
For the last 4 years Montie has been used as a lesson horse for intermediate and advanced riding school students. When jumping she can be forward and would be too much horse for a nervous, unbalanced rider.
Montie would be the ideal mount for pony club, interschool, trail riding or even an all-round farm horse. Currently in full work and ready for her next rider.
