Disclosable Characteristics: Cosmetic scar on hind leg. She has a ticking in her hind leg when walking. It’s not noticeable in Trott or canter and doesn’t seem to affect her but needs to be known
Sweet mare for sale. She is very kind with people and enjoys attention. As a broodmare living in a herd, she could be jealous around other horses, but since being broken in last October and living in a single paddock, she has become very independent and doesn't worry much about other horses. She rides well both alone and in company.
Before being started under saddle, she lived in a herd as a broodmare and had a filly. Since being broken in, she has proven to be a sensible and easy-going mare. She is used to dogs, children, cows, sheep, llamas, machinery and gunshots. She is generally very relaxed, doesn't spook much, and can be ridden after a period of standing without any drama.
She is an easy keeper and uncomplicated to feed. Easy to catch, rug and handle, and she stands well for the farrier, who does her feet on his own while I'm at work. A straightforward mare with a kind nature and a calm attitude. She has go, which is typical for an Arab, but she’s also very sensitive and willing to please.
A lovely and well-schooled mare with a kind temperament and excellent rideability.
She is exceptionally patient and stands quietly on command for mounting. Whether mounting from the ground, a mounting block or a fence, she remains calm and reliable, making her suitable for a wide range of riders.
Under saddle, she offers smooth and comfortable transitions between walk, trot and canter. She naturally maintains a consistent rhythm and is developing a correct level of collection. She is established in leg yield at both walk and trot and responds willingly to the rider’s aids. Her halts are balanced and prompt from both walk and trot, and she can move directly into trot from the halt with ease.
She works confidently into the contact without becoming heavy in the hand and is particularly soft and sensitive in the mouth. Her rideability and responsiveness make her a pleasure to train and ride.
In addition, she is familiar with the obstacles used in Working Equitation and approaches them calmly and confidently.
This mare combines a willing attitude, solid basic schooling and excellent manners, making her a promising partner for further dressage training, Working Equitation or an all-round riding home. Suitable for an adult under 70kg or a skilled teenager. Loves kids, but I wouldn’t recommend her for young leading classes since I don’t have children to test that with.
I’d always take her back if your circumstances change. She’s just too small for my needs.
