Max is an 11-year-old bay One More Daddy gelding who is a versatile, reliable horse that can be enjoyed by the whole family. He would make an ideal all-rounder for events such as the Man From Snowy River Challenge or similar competitions, as he is capable across a wide range of activities.
Max has experience in drafting, team penning, cross-country, barrels, steer undecorating, mustering and trail riding. He is also easy to manage in everyday situations. He floats well, stands to be shod, clipped and rugged, and is sensible in traffic. He has a soft mouth, calm temperament and smooth gaits, making him comfortable to ride.
Max is easy to catch, respectful of electric fencing, and is a pleasure to have both in the paddock and when travelling. He is great after a spell — no bucking or silly behaviour — and is a good doer. You can pull him off the truck and ride. Max can also perform a few fun tricks, including lying down, whip cracking and rearing on command.
Currently ridden by teenagers, but suitable for the whole family.
