Trixie is a beautiful mare (who behaves like a gelding) who has been an absolute pleasure to be around. Trixie has the most beautiful temperament and is very friendly, willing and quiet. Trixie been a trusted family horse that has carried riders of all ages and experience levels. She is very quiet and sensible, making her suitable for beginners or those wanting a reliable horse to enjoy. She has done trails, mustering, pleasure rides, clinics, obstacles, barrels, Pony Club and natural horsemanship. Trixie is a very versatile horse making her great for any level of rider and discipline.

Trixie is responsive under saddle (responds to voice queue’s), is comfortable to ride in all three paces and has a soft mouth. Happy to be collected in a frame and work or being ridden around on a loose rein. She is a great horse to ride both in the arena and out in the paddocks. She’s a great confidence builder for a beginner rider or someone looking to get back into riding but is also willing to step it up for a more advanced and experienced rider. She is not a horse that needs to be ridden consistently to behave. Trixie is easy to handle on the ground, loves being around her humans and loves a good cuddle.

Trixie is fine to just pull from the paddock and jump on bareback in a halter. Great to open gates off, can rollback, side pass and back up when asked. Is great for the farrier, has very hard feet (never shod). Respectful of fences and fine being paddocked alone or with others. Good to groom and will happily stand all day to be.
