Meet Lunar Watch(affectionately known as Leo), a straightforward and easy-going 15-year-old chestnut 16.1hh (unofficial) Thoroughbred gelding.
Performance & Experience
* Numerous PCAV and HRCAV Level 3 competitions in Eventing, Dressage, and Showjumping.
* Successfully started Eventing at 95cm.
* Point-and-shoot jumping style
* Farm hacking
Temperament & Manners
* More "Woah" than "Go": He is incredibly easy-going, steady, and lacks the typical hotness associated with many Thoroughbreds.
* Ground Manners: Absolute gentleman on the ground. He is excellent to catch, shoe, clip, and worm
* Maintenance: Easy keeper, currently doing great with just front shoes.
The Ideal Home
Leo will best suit an intermediate rider looking for a reliable, safe partner to travel with and have fun in low-level eventing, adult riding club (HRCAV), or pony club. He is the perfect step-up horse for a rider wanting to gain confidence competing without the stress.
Leo is only looking for a new home as his rider is aiming to climb the higher levels and Leo is just comfortable at 80-95cm.
Vet Checks are welcome at buyers expense. He does have splint on is front leg from his racing days but this hasn't cause him any issues in the 7 years we have had him.
