Rosie is a gorgeous little mare, such a kind horse always wanting attention and snuggles. So easy to do absolutely anything with and for anyone to deal with. Sad sale and in no rush to sell her at all, she's part of the family.
I broke her in 2022 and she did not blink an eyelid for anything. I then sold her to an older lady to trail ride and she owned her for a couple years, riding her up the bush and high country and loved her, just ended up retiring from riding so i bought her back.
Since i bought her back last year we have done lots of arena work working on getting her soft/flexible/relaxed and lots of trail rides. She'll go out fine around the farm and roads either by herself or with others. She has established leg aids, a very soft mouth and some voice aids. Works in a nice frame or will just plod around. I've had beginners on her and she's never put a foot wrong, very safe mare. I took her to a barrel race last winter and she was perfect for her first event.
Rosie does have PSSM1 which when on the correct diet and reasonably consistent exercise you wouldn't even know she has. This is the main reason for her sale as I don't need a horse I have to worry about not being able to perform after driving hours to a rodeo. In saying this I've had her in consistent, heavy work with no issue and more inconsistent work like trail riding or lower level riding she will have absolutely no issue with.
Would sell the B-rank barrel saddle as seen in pics too as it was custom for her.
