Reluctantly offered for sale only because his rider has decided she would like to return to ponies and focus on showing. This is an incredibly difficult sale, and finding the right home is our priority.
Drake is a quality rising 8 yr old Thoroughbred gelding who is proving himself to be an exciting young dressage horse. Ridden and produced by a 12yo, he has consistently impressed judges/coaches with his temperament, trainability, movement and willingness to work.
He regularly scores in the high 60s and 70s, including an outstanding 70.94% in Combined Training, receiving additional Harmony of Horse and Rider marks. He continues to improve every outing and is developing into a genuinely competitive dressage mount.
Drake has also jumped up to 1.10m at home and competed up to 80cm.

Drake is well travelled and regularly attends competitions, pony club, lessons and clinics. He floats well, settles well away from home, stables well and has taken every experience in his stride.

Although successfully ridden by a capable 12 yr old, Drake is not a beginner's horse. He is best suited to a confident teen or adult looking for a talented horse to continue producing through the dressage grades, with the versatility to enjoy eventing/ pony club/ trailriding if desired. Drake is a true all rounder.
This is a genuine sale of a much loved horse with enormous potential. We would love to see him continue excelling in a home where his talent can be fully realised.
