Tex is a 6 rising 7-year-old 12.2hh Welsh Pony B gelding with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He's a fun, forward-moving pony who loves having a job and is always eager to get out and do something.
He's a confident little pony with plenty of go, making him **best suited to an advanced and confident rider** who enjoys a responsive ride. Whether it's trail rides, pony club, or jumping, Tex loves to be kept busy and thrives when he's in regular work. **He is not a beginner's pony** and will excel with a rider who has experience and can bring out his full potential.
Tex absolutely **loves free jumping** and is incredibly talented over fences. He is bold, careful, and shows plenty of natural ability, making free jumping one of his favourite things to do.
Tex has a sweet, affectionate nature and enjoys attention. Once he trusts you, he'll happily be your best mate and is always the first to meet you at the gate. He's full of character and never fails to make people smile.
He has experience with flatwork, poles, trail riding and jumping, and has plenty of potential for someone wanting a fun all-rounder. He's a quick learner and enjoys being challenged.
Tex is easy to catch, float, rug and handle, and is good for the farrier. **He can be a little unsure around the hose at times, but with patience and reassurance he settles well and is otherwise a very good boy.** He lives happily in a herd and is respectful around other horses.
