Stevie is a 4.5 year old solid paint bred mare, Gunner bred on sire’s side, so well suited for reining, ranch horse, cow horse etc.
Stevie is being started undersaddle now, video shows current level of ridden training- being very willing to walk and trot and steering softly from the halter, stopping and backing up. She has worn the bridle but not yet steering off the bit. Has had a first ridden canter and will continue to develop the canter. For only 2 weeks training she has come along so easily and has been a pleasure to handle and ride!
For sale to an experienced home to continue her training, she can be kept in training with us if the buyer wishes or send her to your choice of trainer if not able to finish yourself. She will be a lovely horse for someone confident and capable with green horses. I can see her excelling in Ranch Horse events but she would equally be a great pleasure or trail riding horse.
