Available to an approved home, Huxley is a big, incredibly leggy colt with a huge future ahead of him. Taking after his tall dam and impressive imported sire, we expect him to mature into a very substantial, striking boy.
Huxley has the most gentle soul. He is already very friendly, inquisitive, and super chatty with us. He has been given the perfect start to life, passing his new foal vet check and IgG testing with flying colors.

The Dam: Inge fan Friesian Dreams (Ster) Inge is one of our tall mares who consistently produces sensational, hardy offspring. She was Champion at the 2023 FNQ Keuring and Reserve Champion at the 2019 SA Keuring as a foal. Most importantly, she passes on her wonderful, kind, and easy-going temperament. Her foals are highly proven in the ring, with Keuring results including a 1st Premie, the Breeders Cup, Best Australian Bred 1-2yo Colt, and a 2nd Premie / Reserve Champion at the 2023 FNQ Keuring.
The Sire: Drys vd Terpen (Ster AAA) (Hessel 480 x Tjalbert 460) Huxley’s sire is our imported Australian Permit Stallion, Drys vd Terpen (negative for dwarfism & hydrocephalus). Drys is a high-caliber stallion possessing incredible talent, scoring a phenomenal 87.5 in his ridden ABFP test with a 9 for Trot. Praised by KFPS inspectors as demonstrating "all we are looking for in the breed," he consistently passes on his absolute willingness to work, sensational movement, and outstanding conformation. He is also proving his performance abilities in the dressage ring, with his last outing scoring a sensational 73.8% overall in Preliminary and a massive 75.7% from a visiting judge. He is equally impressive as a producer, already boasting two offspring presented as foals at the 2025 Keuring who both received 2nd Premies.
We pride ourselves on giving our foals the very best start. Every attention is given to nutritionally balanced diets from conception to adulthood, via testing of soil, pasture, hay & water. Youngsters are given incremental life lessons to prepare them for their journey with their family. The basics of leading, floating, tying up, standing for farriers and rugging. Are all important steps before a foal will leave us.
