Iron Bark Strider.
Meet Leo, easy to float, tie, lead, wash and trim feet.
He has been broken for a few months and had roughly 50 rides. He can be a typical pony and a little hard to catch, but given time and further education he'll be an amazing children's pony for Pony Club. He can jump and has been handled by children, but needs further desensitisation and handling by a confident child.
We have used him as a leadline for my beginner daughter, no worries around the farm/feedlot, but definitely suits a confident young rider off lead as he can be rather bossy and wants to go his own way.
He can be a little hard to catch some days and tends to turn his rear to you to avoid you (not all the time and has never kicked), but food quickly changes his mind!
Unfortunately I don't have time due to work, children and other horses to continue on his education.
