Lumpy is a big solid unregistered stock horse gelding, he’s approximately 14yo and done a bit of everything in his life.
Currently being used as a lead horse for breakers, spare clerk pony and team penner.
I have drafted lumpy this year with full courses and although he’s good at it, he’s jolly strong and ignorant outside, suit a big fella that can really haul him back.
As a team penner and sorting horses he’s a freak, absolutely nothing will get past him, he will really go to work and is perfect for the hard and fast competitive rider.
Out in the paddock working cattle he’s soft and responsive, he’s only strong in a Campdraft run.
Lead a horse up each side of him, plenty of speed to pick up, arrogant enough to put up with whatever crap they give him.
Lumpy does have a couple of melanoma lumps around his throat, doesn’t affect his breathing but they are there, may never affect him or they might, he’s priced low for only that reason.
Needs an experienced rider as he would be too responsive for anyone who can’t ride.
Can be girthy but couldn’t buck to save his life.
Sad sale as he’s such a character but wanting to buy a more competitive Campdraft horse.
