New-Moon Zander is a super young gelding who loves people and is keen for a job. Confident, strong, athletic, and very trainable, he is willing to please and learns quickly. Elite conformation (judged by ACE Group Inc visiting International sport-horse assessor).
The Shagya-Araber is a sport-horse (light cavalry) breed developed in Hungary in the 17-1800's, originally based on the breeding of desert-bred Arabian stallions over local warmblood mares. The breed now has a closed studbook requiring licensing and performance-testing of breeding stock.
NM Zander's sire (via frozen semen) is Tolstoj al Samarra, standing at stud in Germany. Tolstoj has passed two stallion performance tests, in endurance and standard (eventing), and achieved FEI top 10 ranking in endurance.
NM Zander's dam is Zariah al Samarra, imported from Germany and available for viewing at New-Moon Stud.
NM Zander has had basic handling and float training (see video). Regularly wormed and feet trimmed.
