Whiskey is a kind true black stock horse( no registration) 15.3 15yo but plenty of life left in him. Healthy and sound .
He is highly educated in English and stockman trained.
We have owned him for 6 years and in that time have had much success in
Dressage , eventing, teampenning , ranch sorting, showing, hunting and anything else thrown at him . He hasnt been in full work for 6 months but pulled out of the paddock once a week for a trail ride he is looking for the sedate lifestyle of trailriding, or even a quiet ride with some cows.
Due to some mild arthritis changes, though perfectly sound on supplements im not selling as a jump prospect but could def still hold his own in the dressage arena. Sensitive boy with some quirks and requires a kind owner/rider with soft hands and independent seat. Super soft mouth and responsive to leg aids so is not suited to a beginner or nervous rider . He has too many buttons and can spin on a dime if needed. Self loads on float, great for the farrier, etc.
Rugged, clipped in fat paddock condition. No buck , bolt or kick or rear.
Hes just too good to just sit in a paddock still loves a job and is sad he is not my no 1 anymore.
Comes with rugs and can come with stock saddle for extra.
