Bear Necessities aka Bear
Race name: Le Grand Jeu
Dam: La Lollobrigida
Sire: Bradbury’s Luck
Bear is the sweetest little man who absolutely thrives on one-on-one time with his person. He has a kind, genuine nature and is the type of horse that truly enjoys building a connection with his rider. Under saddle, Bear moves willingly off the leg and is confidently established in his canter, showing lovely balance, softness, and natural suppleness. He has been produced thoughtfully and correctly, with plenty of time allowed for him to mature both mentally and physically, and the possibilities with him are endless.
This maturity carries through into his jumping, where he approaches his work with a willing attitude and growing confidence. Bear has attended several outings including OTT training days, low-level dressage, and showjumping days, where he has continued to improve with every ride and exposure. He is proving to be a very genuine young horse who enjoys having a job and tries hard to please.
On the ground, Bear is incredibly easy to handle in every way. He is good to float, worm, wash, and shoe, and gets along well with other horses in the paddock. He is a pleasure to have around and is easy to manage in day-to-day handling.
Bear does windsuck, however this is easily managed with a collar and has not impacted his work or condition. As he is still green and continuing his education, he is best suited to a confident rider who can continue bringing him along correctly. For this reason, he is not suitable for beginner riders.
Bear is currently out of work, however he will only be sold to the very best of homes where he can continue to develop and reach his full potential. His price will increase once he returns to work and continues further education and competition exposure.
