“Dutch” | 15’3hh | Appaloosa/QH | 2020 rising 6yo
Dutch has recently been restarted after having been turned out and allowed to mature. He is not in work. Has only been ridden a handful of times since April.
Has previously done some clicker training and liberty prior to initial start.
He is:
intelligent;
quiet and sensible; and
sensitive and willing (enough so to make him a competitive prospect).
Good halt from seat (and good half halt already established);
forward motivated;
GREAT trot once he’s loosened up
generally just wanting to please
He’s got solid foundations and the right attitude (and aptitude) that he will be a pleasure to produce!
That said - while he may be exceptionally quiet for his age and experience level - he is still a young, green horse who looks to his rider for direction and calm leadership on and off the ground.
Experienced handler and rider required.
For sale as owner has only recently come back into riding and is looking for something more established.
