Atlas is an eye-catching blue roan gelding with a beautiful nature and plenty of ability. He’s a soft, responsive ride with a lovely snaffle mouth and a good stop.
He has done a bit of mustering, cattle work, clinics, jumping and mechanical cow work, and has attended competitions and beach rides with his previous owner. Opens and closes gates, walks over tarps and bridges and generally takes new things in his stride.
Atlas has also recently spent a few weeks with a trainer while I was away getting married and on my honeymoon, so he is currently in consistent work and going really well.
He thrives with consistent work and is best suited to a confident, experienced rider to continue bringing out his full potential as he is still green. When out of work he can be a little spooky at times, however there is no dirt or malice in him and he moves on quickly. No buck, bolt, bite, rear etc.
He is a super friendly horse that loves attention and being around people. Gets along well with other horses and is easy to catch, shoe, float, rug, worm, dentist and tie up. Excellent hard feet and an easy keeper.
He does have a couple of superficial scars that do not affect him in any way, happy to discuss further with genuine enquiries.
This is a very regretful sale due to lack of time he needs, and I would love to see him go to a home where he can continue progressing and doing a job.
Not in a rush to sell him, the right home is most important.
