VBA Dawn is a super fun mare that is happy to give anything a go. She was overall runner-up in the Australian Brumby Challenge in 2022. She is a pleasure to work with and ride with her willing nature, she has been under saddle for 2 years and brought along nicely since. She has a solid foundation and is responsive and relaxed. Dawn loves trail rides and is happy to lead or follow, she was a dream for her 11yo jockey at the Barmah muster this year. She is equally as happy cruising over jumps and has successfully competed at Horse trials. Pony club is always a great day when Dawn comes along, novelties are her favourite but she also scrubs up well enough for the showring. Her build is very solid, strong but neat conformation with no scars or bumps.

Dawn is like most brumbies, once she connects and trusts you she will do anything you ask, she also has perfect brumby feet! She has come a long way from the small unhandled yearling but there has never been any nasty behaviour. Now she loves her food and is a great doer all year round. Dawn is easy to handle in every way and would suit a confident intermediate fun seeking rider
